Football Player Aaron Ramsey Ups Reward for Lost Pet in Mexican Territory to £15k

Welsh athlete Ramsey has raised the bounty for information concerning his lost dog named Halo to £15,000.

The former Premier League club Arsenal and Cardiff City player, who now represents Pumas UNAM in Mexico City, mentioned that the beagle was spotted in San Miguel de Allende, located in the Guanajuato zone.

Halo, who went missing on 9 October, was equipped with a GPS collar, and the footballer shared a map pinpoint of the spot she vanished from.

"Any news about our Halo please get in touch with us. Substantial incentive for locating her. We are all wishing she is safe and will return to our side shortly," Ramsey shared on social media.

Earlier Bounty and Heartfelt Appeals

Ramsey first disclosed that his dog had gone missing two weeks ago and has since posted multiple photos of the adored dog on Instagram.

A seven thousand five hundred pound reward was originally offered, but with lack of updates on Halo's status after a seven days, Ramsey and his loved ones raised the reward.

"Our only wish is Halo home," he expressed in an additional request on social media after the decade-old dog went missing.

A recent picture upload is a monochrome photo of the beagle sleeping, its head resting in the bend of the athlete's elbow, with the caption: "What I wouldn't give to hold you once more sweet Halo."

Household's Anxieties and Background

The footballer has also shared a message from his spouse Mrs. Ramsey on online channels mentioning they have some "important queries" regarding the incident and fear the family "might not get explanations".

"We have yet to have not located Halo. It is unlikely we ever will," his wife's message read.

The Welsh captain became part of Mexican first division team Club Universidad Nacional in recent months and had his first appearance in Liga MX in the eighth month.

Born in Caerphilly player is the first well-known British Isles athlete to play in the Mexico's top division.
